We highly recommend the Aqua Kriya Yoga program created and taught by Camella Nair. Level 1 is an 18 hour program that is completed over one weekend. Level 2 is a 22 hour program and delves more into special populations and aqua yoga therapeutics; level 1 training is a prerequisite. Many populations benefit from the use of the pool wall in combination with anchoring techniques from the Iyengar tradition. Aqua yoga restoratives can be enjoyed; stabilization and strength work can be practiced without excess loading on knee, hip, ankle, shoulder, elbow and wrists joints.
