Connecting with the Breath

Through Aqua Yoga

For yoga teachers, aquatic professionals, yoga students, aqua yoga students and anyone with a curious mind

How does an aquatic postures practice elucidate the relationship between the breath and the spine? Discover how the properties of water and specific movements provide insight to your body and your breath.


 In this workshop, students will:

  • Learn about directional flow of the breath
  • Experience how various yoga postures in the water inform and influence the relationship between the spine and the breath
  • Identify the properties of water and how they are influencing the postures practice

Location: Aquafit of Plano, 1400 Summit Ave, Ste D, Plano, TX 75074

Weekend Format is as follows with 12 CEUs total:  10.5 contact hour and  1.5 non-contact hour available.

For this format 6 pool practice times lasting 45 minutes each are included. Each pool practice will have 30 minutes pre-brief and 30 minutes post lecture & discussion.

These courses are taught by Sandi Tindal and will be listed on Yoga Alliance. Participants who are members of Yoga Alliance will receive 10.5 contact hour and 1.5 non-contact hour CEUs upon completion of homework. Aquatic professionals are encouraged to petition for their CEUs.
